Good evening, its been a really beautiful hot day,
here on the south east coast its also been a bit misty as times but a really lovely day.

I went to Mums this morning to do her housework. I also took with me my lap top to show her Emma's photos of the Prom night, she was thrilled to see them.

It was a really lovely evening and we went to watch everyone arrive in their different vehicles, there were lots of us enjoying the views, very proud parents and friends!

Good afternoon, today is another beautiful day.

I have been in the garden this morning, weeding and doing the edges of the lawn and generally tidying up leaves etc. I hope to go out again after I have had my lunch.

I am then off to my sons to see his step daughter Emma go to her Prom evening, I hope to take some photos that I will put on here.

I was shocked to hear the news last night of Michael Jackson it is so sad.

Monday Afternoon 22nd June 2009

Good afternoon I hope you are having a good Monday.

I had to go to my Mum's this morning as she had someone coming to see her about loft insulation and she wanted me to be there with her.

I then went on to my friends Sal and Jean and had a good chat with them along with a welcome cup of tea. Sal's husband Rich was home from sea, he was mowing the lawn, a job I did early this morning before I went to Mums.

Tonight I have my friend Sarah and her partner Mick coming round to have a look at the new conservatory and my bedroom now I have re-decorated it !

Good morning,it is a bright sunny day a bit windy but suppose to be a nice day.

I have been really really busy hence I haven't been on here all week sorry!

I am just waiting for my lady to come and give my hair a trim. I have already been down the tip with three bags of garden rubbish.

This weekend I' m having Charlotte and Tom on Saturday overnight as their Mum and Dad are busy at concerts and parties etc lucky them !!!

I managed to get in the garden yesterday and do a bit of weeding and tidying up but still have a lot to do and now the lawn wants cutting again, it never ends does it!

I off to see my friends Sal and Rich and Jean this afternoon. Rich has kindly said he will look at my lap top as I have a serious virus, am hoping he will be able to sort it out for me.

Saturday Evening

Today has been a lovely day the sun has been out all day and it has been really warm.

I took Tom to his Golf lesson this morning which thoroughly enjoyed especially has he beat his instructor by one point - quite pleased with himself !

I picked Luke up and he is staying with me for the rest of the weekend. He has been doing his homework and is now playing on his Xbox.

I went in the garden this afternoon for a short while, mostly weeding I have a lot to do out there and am hoping to do a lot more tomorrow.

Friday Evening

Good evening, its been quite a busy day, I have been painting over the last few days, its coming along OK at present, I'm just doing it when the weather is bad and I can't get out in the garden, so it will take quite a bit longer.

Now I must make a start in the garden again, plenty of weeds to take out, and edges to trim and lawns to mow, shall I go on !!!

This afternoon I popped in to see my friends Sally and Jean, and stayed with Jean whilst Sally went to their neighbours funeral. Then I went to my son Phil and his partner Lorraine, I had made some cakes in the morning so I took them for the family to eat. Phil and Lorraine are in the middle of re-decorating their lounge and stairs so they were really busy.

Tomorrow I am going to pick up Luke in the morning and bring him back to mine for the weekend, he has some homework to do on the lap top.

Thursday morning

Good morning, its a lovely day now, the sun is shining and its not too windy!

I have been to Tescos this morning to get my weekly shopping and have just sat down to have a nice cup of coffee.

Yesterday afternoon and evening I was re-painting the woodwork with gloss in the kitchen. It needs a freshen up so have made a start on it as it wasn't nice enough to go out and do some gardening.

This afternoon I am hoping to go to my friends Sal and Jean. Sal and I are going to do a some computering! I am hoping she will be able to help me as at present my anti virus is telling me I have a serious problem which needs to be deleted, I have no idea how to do this so Sal is going to try and help me!!!!

Wednesday Morning

Good morning, today it is suppose to be showery and sunny, at present the sun is trying to come out and about half an hour ago it was trying to rain! Expect it is going to be variable today!

Today I am hoping to do a bit of painting in the kitchen, the back door, I have already done the outside so just have the inside to do, that is all being well!

I still have the cupboards to do in my bedroom so must try and get that done before I get a new carpet to complete my new bedroom.

Tuesday Evening

Good evening, today has been quite a busy day.

Karen phoned me first thing this morning to say that Charlotte was still feeling not well with a bad headache so she was staying at home and could I pop in to see her.

so before I went to Mum's to do her housework I went to make sure Charlotte was OK. then I went on to Mums. after that I popped into Charlotte again and then went and did Mum's shopping before going home for a bit of lunch.

Then it was time to return to see Charlotte and pick Tom up from school, waited to Karen got home and then returned home, that was my day!

Hopefully Charlotte will be OK for School tomorrow.

I am hoping to have a relaxing evening.

Monday Evening

Good evening, its been quite a nice day especially this afternoon I was able to put Mum's washing on the line and I got it all dry.

Tonight I have ironed it so it is all ready to take to Mums tomorrow.

Lunch time I had a phone call from Karen saying that the school had phone her to say that Charlotte wasn't feeling very well and could I possibly go and get her. So I went out immediately and picked her up and brought her back to mine, she had a really bad headache.

I had to take her back to her home so that I could then pick Tom up from school which is usually Charlotte's job except on a Wednesday afternoon when she has to go to Drama at school and so I pick Tom up.

I am just relaxing now and watching a bit of television.

Sunday Evening

Today started with heavy rain and quite strong winds, this lasted all morning then in the afternoon it brighened up and out came the sun the wind died down and it was quite a warm afternoon although too wet to do anything in the garden.

I had Luke staying with me overnight, so we had our roast dinner and then I took him to his mothers so he could spend some time with his little brothers.

I popped in to see Karen and family and then popped back to pick Luke up to take him home.

I spent the evening watching TV and relaxing.

Saturday Morning - Its the Weekend !!!!

Good morning, it is a nice day a bit windy but the sun is shining and it looks a nice day.

I am taking Tom to his Golf lesson this morning, it starts at 12pm and lasts for about three quarters of an hour, last week when I picked him up his instructor said he had done really well but gets a bit cross with himself when he does a bad swing (is that the right word, I don't think so)

Karen completed her NVQ level 4 yesterday it is such a relief as it has a long hard road and very difficult at times, doing a full time job and having a family etc, I am so pleased she has completed it. It now has to go into an Assessor to be marked.

Friday Evening

Today has been a rainy day but good for the gardens.

I did my housework this morning as it was raining and then went to see how my mum was, she was OK and had her little friend there for a chat.

I managed to get to the bank to pay a cheque in and then went on to see my friends Sal and Jean I had a cup of tea with them and returned home where I stayed for the evening.

Thursday evening

Good evening, Its been a strange day today with regards to the weather.
It was dull first thing this morning then the sun came out for a short while then it looked like rain and so on all day long !

First thing this morning I went to the Polling station to vote and then on to the local shops to get a few bits. When I got home I washed the car and cleaned inside and out it took quite a while.

I wanted to mow the lawn, got the mower out and it wouldn't work so I had to put it on battery charge hoping it would do the trick, after about four hours I tried again at first it still didn't work so I tried to think of what else it might be, I checked the oil and it seemed a little low so I put a little more in and hey presso it worked !!!! so I got the front and back mowed it is looking a lot better.

I should be doing some ironing tonight but just can't be bothered it will have to wait until tomorrow.

I feel quite tired tonight I think an earlier night might be needed.

Wednesday Evening

Good evening I hope that you have had a lovely day.

I had to get my Mum's shopping this morning which I took to her, she was just about to go to the Hairdressers which is in the flats that she lives in so I didn't see her for long.

I then went to my friends Sally and Jean. Sally was going to give me a computer lesson, I had a really lovely time and learnt quite a lot, Sally is a wiz kid on the computer and was helping me with some of the problems I have. We had quite a laugh as well, a really enjoyable time.

This afternoon I went to Tom's school to pick him up and I stayed there until his Mum came home, he was showing me his Wii game, I must say its foreign to me but he was having a great time on it!

This evening I am going to have a go at some of the things Sally has showed me on the computer, wish me luck!

Monday evening

Good evening, it has been another lovely sunny day.

I woke up this morning with a really bad back again, I was so stiff but as I moved around the bungalow it did ease a bit.

I managed to paint two more panels of the fence, I couldn't do any more. I also planted a few more bedding plants in the front garden.

I went to my Mums this morning to change her bed and collect the rest of her washing which I brought home to wash and iron.

Karen phoned me tonight, something (ie bird or squirral )was behind the fireplace in Charlotte's bedroom so they had to call the Fire Briagde out. Apparantly it was a bird, it flew away as soon as it was let go!

Sunday Afternoon

This morning I have been painting the fences, I have done three panels today and three yesterday - only eight more to go !!!!!

I am popping round to see my friend Sarah and her partner Mick to catch up on our news. they had a skip delivered yesterday so am wondering how they got on.

Saturday Morning

Good morning, it is another glorious day, the sun is shining we have a litte wind but its not too bad and its suppose to be a good day.

I have already been out in the garden watering it before it gets too hot, I didn't do it last night so had to do it this morning. I was watching Britain Got Talent it was really good, I shall be watching it again tonight as it is the final.

I have to go out in a minute to take Tom to his Golf lesson, so will make this a short blog this morning.

Friday morning

Good morning, it is a really glorious day here on the east coast, absolutely lovely!!!

Its so lovely to see the sun and feel we are able to wear not so many clothes!!!

Yesterday I had Chloe to dinner, her foot looks bruised and is purple but she says that it doesn't hurt so much now.

Its nearly the end of the children's week off school, it goes really quickly doesn't it!!

I hope to see my friend Sarah and her partner Mick over the weekend, they are going to be busy as they have ordered a skip for the weelend.

Thursday

Good afternoon, the weather today started off as dull but seems to be brightening up now although the sun isn't out yet.

I popped in to see my Mum this morning she was OK telling me that Karen, Charlotte and Thomas came to see her yesterday and the children liked the biscuits she gave them.

I did a bit of shopping at Morrisons and then came home and had a bit of lunch. I have Chloe coming to dinner tonight she has had a bit of an accident, she fell down the stairs at home and has hurt her foot, apparantly it is very bruised and purple.

I managed to get some bedding plants for the front garden and hope to put them in the ground this afternoon.

Wednesday Evening

Good evening, I hope you have had a good day. The weather here has been awful raining most of the day and also quite windy.

I decided to do my housework first thing this morning, to get it done and dusted !

Then I went to Mum's with her shopping and onto Tescos to do my own shopping.

This afternoon I went to town to get a present for my Friend Sally's new grand daughter, Erin Paige, and to get cards etc. I managed to get 2 very nice baby grows and some bibs of course all in pink !

Karen phoned to say that she was taking Charlotte and Tom to see my Mum their Great Grandma, which I am sure Mum would be delighted to see them all.

We had a bit of a thunder storm last with the rain and this morning has been very dull and rainy although now it seems to be brightening up.

I have been to my Mums to do her housework and help her with a form she had to fill in.

I then went to Tescos to do some shopping for Mum and for my friends Sally and Jean. Sally became a grand mother yesterday as her son and his partner had a baby daughter, so there is much excitement in their home today. - congratulations to dad Dan and mum Tasha and grand mother Sally and grans dad Richard and of course we welcome little Erin Paige into the world may God bless her !

Bank Holiday Monday

Its Bank holiday Monday. the weather forecast was good but this morning we haven't seen much of the sun, it was said it would be the hottest day of the year so far, no sign of that at present!

I popped along to the Open Garden Day yesterday with Karen and Tom it was lovely we were so pleased we went and Tom really enjoyed it to especially the chocolate cake!

I pick up Luke yesterday afternoon and he is with me at the moment.

This morning I went to Mums to pick up her washing and bring it back to mine and I have just finished ironing it. I also picked up Karen to show her my new conservatory and the bedroom.

Sunday morning

Good morning, on this glorious sunday morning !

Its suppose to be th hottest day so far this year, we shall see.

Yesterday afternoon I managed to plant some bedding plants and tidy the front garden so it is looking much better.

I have just put out my washing lovely day for it.

I am hoping to go to an Open Garden Day that someone from the church is having. She has this each year, and her garden is very interesting, I am looking forward to it.

Saturday Morning

Good morning, it is a beautiful morning, the sun is out and the birds here are singing, a lovely day is promised.

My new blinds arrived yesterday and they are looking good.

Tom was enjoying his birthday when I popped in to say Happy Birthday to him, he had three friends to stay for a sleepover and Karen was taking them to see a film last night.

I am taking Tom to his golf lesson this morning and am hoping to do a little bit of gardening this afternoon.

Good morning, its Friday nearly the weekend !!

It is a glorious morning the sun is shining and its going to be a lovely day.

I have just been cleaning the new conservatory windows as the new blinds are being fitted this morning, then everything will be finished.

Its my grand son Tom's birthday today he is nine years old. He is having a sleep over tonight with a few friends.

I am hoping to visit my friends Sally and Jean after the Blinds man has been, we like to have a cup of tea and a chat, this week I think we have a lot to tell each other, its been an eventful week for us all.

Thursday morning

Good morning, it is another lovely morning, I am not sure if it will stay like that, I believe showers might be expected.

Yesterday I did a little weeding in the front garden but couldn't do as much as I would have liked because of my back. I hope to do a little today.

This Tuesday my neighbours and I had a really amazing and a bit of a frightening experience. I was sitting in my lounge on the lap top when I heard this buzzing noise, I looked up and the sky was absolutely full of Bees, first they were over my neighbours garden and then they came in mine and settled in a tree at the bottom of my garden. The sky was full of Bees and the noise was terrific . We didn't know where the Bees went and my other neighbour and friend Roy called me yesterday asking me if the Bees were still in the tree, we had a look and I couldn't see anything except what I thought might be a big birds nest. Roy said to me that they had probably been disturbed and that wherever they were they would be there for about 24 hours.

Sure enough yesterday I was sitting in my new conservatory and suddenly there was this noise again and the whole sky was full of Bees coming from the tree ! It all happened very very quickly (not like the day before when the it went on for about 15 minutes) they went over an alley way and down the road . The whole thing was absolutely amazing I have never seen anything like it, I only wish I had taken a photo to show you but I was too busy shutting windows and doors and calling the neighbours etc !!!

Wednesday Morning

Good morning, it is a bright and sunny day here and I believe the weather forecast is good for today!

I am feeling a bit better with my back, but know I must be careful so although I hope to do a bit in the garden I mustn't do too much.

I was at my Mums yesterday doing her housework and then I did her shopping so she should be OK for a few days. She is looking very tired and fragile and says her legs are feeling so bad and they won't work bless her.

Phil returned very late last night from his training course, he is very tired but still has jobs for today , I am quite worried for him as he sounded exhausted!

Monday Morning

Good morning, it is a lovely sunny day here on the east coast. I have managed to get some washing out on the line. Later on this morning I will be going to my Mums to change her bed and get her washing, which hopefully I will be able to get on the line too.

Yesterday was a busy day but a nice day. Karen and Charlotte did their 3 miles for Cancer UK, they did theirs for Charing Cross Hospital who helped and guided Karen when she had her Molar pregnancy , they were so good.

After taking them home I went to see Phil and Lorraine and spent about an hour with them until Phil had to make a move to do the journey to Warrington where he has a two day course on special heights.

I have my lady due soon to give me a hair trim so hope that will make me feel a lot tidier. Today I have woken up with a bad back again, I just hope its not going to be too bad, even my neck feels bad today !

Sunday morning

Good morning, I have a busy day today.

I am taking my daughter Karen and grand daughter Charlotte to Colchester as they are entering the Race for Life which I believe is three miles.

I want to get back in time to see my son Phil as he had a two day training course with his company and has to go away for two nights starting this afternoon as he has a four hour journey to get to his destination.

Hopefully I will make it back in time to see him.

Saturday evening

Good evening, it has been a lovely day today and I have managed to get out in the garden again to do some weeding and tidying up.

My neighbour Ann came round to see me and we sat in the conservatory having a good old chat. Her husband George isn't able to get about other than if he uses his mobile chair, he wants to come round and see my new conservatory and the garden so we are going to arrange when he can come.

This morning I was looking after Charlotte and Tom. I had to take Tom to his Golf lesson, which he enjoys.

Wednesday Morning

Good morning, it is still quite windy here on the east coast, the weather forecast is possibly rain which my garden needs at the moment as the wind has made the ground very dry.

This afternoon I will be picking up Tom from school and hopefully will try to get his hair cut.

I am not sure what I will be doing today I might do so more painting the kitchen window and door (the inside) I did the outside last week.

Tuesday Evening

Good evening, it has been another very windy day and I have been unable to go out in the garden. My poor runner beans and tomatoe plants are looking very battered and are now in need of watering.

Instead of going in the garden I thought I had better do some housework which I did once I had been to my Mum's and done her housework first!

I am at the moment watching the weather forecast on the television and it doesn't look good for tomorrow. so it doesn't look like I will be doing any gardening tomorrow, still I have plenty of jobs to do in the home, painting being one of them.

Monday Evening

Good evening, today it has been a very very windy day, although quite a bright day.

It was too windy to go out in the garden and do some jobs.

I had to go to the dentist first thing this morning to have a filling . It wasn't too bad it only took 20 minutes and I was out, I was pleased that I had the first appointment 8.30am !

I did a bit of shopping and popped it round to my friends Sally and Jean, I couldn't have a cup of tea there because of my filling - I am sure I will make up for that next time I visit there !

I also went to check on my Mum she was OK but says her legs are giving way under her, she does use a walking stick but I feel the time is coming when she will need more help. I had to stay quite a while sorting out bits for her. Tomorrow she has a nurse from the hospital coming to take some blood tests, I will be there all being well as tomorrow is the day that I do her housework.

When I got home I quickly made a Shepherds Pie for my daughter Karen's family then took it round to hers.

I have just finished Mum's washing and ironing, its been another busy day.

Sunday evening

Good evening its been another nice day although not as warm as yesterday.

I popped round to have a quick chat with Sal and her mum Jean and Sal and I decided to go to the Range for some bedding plants, we came back loaded!

So this afternoon , you have guessed it, I was out in the garden putting the bedding plants in tubs etc. I still have some more to do tomorrow but I am getting there.

I have to go to the dentist first thing in the morning for a filling not looking forward to it.

Saturday Evening

Good evening its been another lovely day to good to be indoors but I had to put the carpet tiles down in the conservatory it took me hours but I did it!

I have managed to put the furniture back with the help of Phil and Lorraine and yesterday I spent the day painting so I have got quite a lot done over the past few days.

Good morning, it is quite bright here, although a bit windy, it looks like the sun might come out soon.

Its the last day that the men will be here finishing off the conservatory, and then hopefully I can get on painting etc and getting back to normal.

Tuesday afternoon

Good afternoon, today has been rather dull but the sun is now trying to come out. It has rained a little on and off this morning.

I have been to my Mum's to do her housework and make sure she was OK. She was quite chatty and wanted to know all the news. she is full of questions bless her!

This afternoon the men are coming for the final time to finished off the last bits in the new conservatory. Then I have to paint it and get the blinds put up, put the carpet tiles back and finally put all the furniture in place, this is going to take me a few days but I am hoping that by the end of the week all will be back to normal. I sincerely hope so as I have had a job with the washing as my washing machine has been in the garage for over two weeks and I have had to ask my friend Sal and a my elderly neighbour Ann, if they could do some washing for me, thank you both so very much.!!

Bank Holiday Monday !

Its the Bank Holiday Monday, I have had a nice day.

This morning I went out with my friend Sal, we went to a car boot sale and had a nice wander round . We went back to Sal's had a cup of tea and then decided to go out in the garden and do a bit of weeding and tidying up.

I popped into Morrison's to get a few bits and then went into Homebase where I brought some Busy Lizzys, they were really nice plants so must get them planted as soon as possible.

This afternoon I went in my garden to do some weeding and tidying up, it is looking a lot better but still have more to do!

At present I am relaxing and watching a bit of TV.

Today it is rather windy but sunny although it did just cloud over and I was wondering whether it was going to rain, especially as I had just put some washing on the line!

I have just had a phone call from Phil and Lorraine they have invited me to a BBQ at lunchtime, so that will be nice.

I will have to wake Luke up soon so he can get ready. I picked him up from his Mum's yesterday and he has stayed overnight.

Saturday Morning

Good morning, it is a lovely day today the sun is shining and I am hoping to get out in the garden to mow the lawns and put the tomatoe plants in the garden - all being well.

The walls of the conservatory are drying out nicely, I have to leave it a few days to completely dry and then I can paint it.

I am expecting Luke sometime today so must look in the freezer to see what we can have for dinner tonight

Friday Evening

Good evening, it has been a glorious day, the sun has been shining all day and it has been hot, a lovely day.

The men arrived this morning about 7.45 am to plaster the walls of the conservatory it is looking very nice and have just a few things to do before it is finished.

I have to wait for the plaster to fully dry before I can paint and before the skirting boards can be put on - then i can say that it is finished!!

I feel quite tired tonight so am relaxing and watching the new series Boy meets Girl.

Thursday Morning !!!

Good morning, today it started quite cloudy but is suppose to be brighter later on.

The men didn't arrive until late today but have commenced work on the conservatory again. The Plumber has arrived to sort out the connections for the washing machine and I have asked the men if they will be kind enough to put up the rails for the blinds once the conservatory is complete.

The porch leaks badly when it is raining and so I have asked them to have a look at that too once they have finished the other jobs.

Wednesday Evening

What a beautiful day it has been today and hot too, I hope you have been able to enjoy it.

Today has been a really busy day, and I was pleased to get home as I was out nearly all day !

The conservatory now has a roof on it and the glass is in the windows, there is still quite a bit to do, it is beginning to look quite nice.

I feel really tired this evening so am relaxing and watching a bit of TV.

Tuesday afternoon

Good afternoon, I hope you are enjoying the sunshine, much better than yesterday.

I have been to Mums this morning to do her housework and get her shopping list etc. Of late she seems to get very breathless, so I called the doctor in to see her. He is going to send a nurse to see her to get some blood tests done etc.

The men are here working on the new conversatory its been quite noisy this afternoon, but hopefully they are making progress, at least the weather is holding up as yesterday they had to pack up at 3.30pm as it was raining so much.

Monday Afternoon

Good afternoon , I hope you all had a good weekend.

This morning the men arrived to take down the old conservatory, a messy and dangerous job as the roof has glass on it, but they have done it and taken all the rubbish away.

I had 24 birthday cards in all, every one was lovely and I had some lovely presents, a very lucky girl am I. I had a very nice day, I was invited to dinner by my daughter Karen and husband Nick and family and then I went on to visit my son Phil and his partner Lorraine and family, then finally on to see a friend and I managed to fit some gardening in as well !! I had a really lovely day.

At present I am going to do some ironing for Mum, so I wish you a lovely afternoon and evening.

Sunday Morning

Good morning, it is a lovely sunday morning the sun is shining and it doesn't look like there is much wind, so I am hoping to go out in the garden soon.

But first of all I have to take the carpet tiles up in the conservatory ready for the work tomorrow.

The very first thing I did this morning at about 6.30am! was to open my birthday cards I have 15 so far and know I have a few more to come !

I had a really lovely basket of flowers from my dear friends Sally and Jean - thank you so much, I have put the basket in front of the fire it looks lovely!!!
