Welcome to the weekend, its great isn't it!!!I had a really busy day yesterday, I was at Karen nearly all day waiting for the Gas man to come, he came about 3.15pm and didn't leave to after 6pm. He has managed to get the boiler to work and the house it now getting warmer, it was like freezer !! I did a number of jobs in the house for Karen mainly to keep myself busy and a bit warm!!! Karen came home from work about 4.30pm so I was then able to leave her to it.
I picked up Luke about 5pm and we came home in the fog it was horrible, then I started on the dinner, by this time Luke was saying he was hungry, it didn't take too long to cook so we were able to sit down to dinner about an hour later, we had roast chicken, potatoes and vegetables, I had made an apple crumble which we throughly enjoyed.
Today it is looking quite good outside, the sun in just beginning to come out , much better than the fog and mist we have had all week.

MMnnn apple crumble is one of my absolute favourites. Havent had that in years! Will have to try making one with Splenda. Hope yours was nice Carole :-)
