This I woke up and opened the curtains to find it had been snowing, I was so surprised .It did look lovely, there were no foot prints or car tyre marks on the road for quite some time.
I ventured out mid morning just to go round the corner to my local Butchers to get our dinner, I managed to get two lovely pork chops. I cooked them fairly slowly in the oven with roast potatoes and vegetables etc. Luke throughly enjoyed it. I love to see his face when I dish up dinner especially when it pork as thats his favourite meat. He loves his dinners and fortunately for him it doesn't show, he is quite a thin lad!
I took Luke back home this afternoon, so he could get ready for school tomorrow.
I was supposed to be going out tonight to see a friend but we decided to call it off as by about 4.30pm it was getting icy on the roads and its so cold, so I am staying in the warm tonight watching the TV. I will be watching Coronation Street and the second part of Above Suspicion, last nights was really enjoyable ( as long as you have a strong stomach) it is written by Lynda La Plante such a clever writer.
I wish everyone a good evening, keep warm!!
