Monday Afternoon

Well as forecasted the snow has arrived, our area East Anglia or rather where I live in Clacton - on -Sea it isn't too bad. I don't know whether the grand children have gone to school. Today it is Phil's day off which is fortunate for him, but yesterday he was working and got stuck in the snow twice!

It has been snowing quite a lot although at present it has stopped, I believe more is expected later tonight.

My daughter Karen and Nick had to take Tom to A & E Saturday night, they were there for hours, as Tom had a piece of glass in his leg. He is OK now but was very upset as he doesn't like injections - who does!! He screamed the place down - poor Tom.

Yesterday morning Lorraine telephoned me hopping mad, their car tyre had been slashed in the night, in fact she found out from the Police that 30 cars had their tyres slashed the whole street!!!!

Poor Phil and Lorraine had an unexpected expense, their washing machine broke down and would have cost at least £160.00 plus to repair so they had to buy a new one, now they have to pay for another tyre - all paying out at the moment !!!

My back doesn't seem to get any better at present so I am having to just take it easy. I haven't been out at all today just kept in the warm.

I wish you a good evening, keep warm!!!!
